Vampire: the Masquerade Chapters - Episode 131

In this episode, we sit down with Thomas Filippi of Flyos Games to talk about the upcoming storytelling board game, Vampire: the Masquerade Chapters. We dig into the story elements of Vampire: the Masquerade, going from fan to creator, and what goes in to the development of a game set in the World of Darkness.

Vampire: The Masquerade – CHAPTERS is a story-driven role-playing board game. This unique combination of playable elements delivers an unforgettable adventure for 1-4 players with highly detailed miniatures, where the strategy and decisions you make have a huge impact on the story. Vampire: The Masquerade – CHAPTERS takes place in Montreal, after the appearance of the Second Inquisition and the fall of Sabbat. Designed around three pillars—story, tactics, and role-playing—our goal is to merge the best elements of RPGs and board games in a brand-new way. Your decisions will shape the adventure in a strong and mature storytelling.

Sins of the Blood - Episode 69

In this episode, we discuss the concepts even the Kindred and Cainites find profane. Sins of the Blood is a sourcebook chronicling the so-called "heresies" of kindred society. From diablerie to Golconda, this book discusses the concepts even ancient vampires find heretical. This book was Written by, Angel McCoy, Matthew McFarland, Joshua Mosqueira-Asheim, Aaron Rosenberg and Lucien Soulban, with development by Justin Achilli and released Aug. 20th, 2001.

Sins of the Blood
Written by: Angel McCoy, Matthew McFarland, Joshua Mosqueira-Asheim, Aaron Rosenberg and Lucien Soulban
August 21st, 2001

Even the Damned Have Taboos
The rules of the Kindred are many, varied and Byzantine. No two princes interpret the Traditions alike; one bishops treason may be anothers valor. Still, even in such precarious societies, heresies arise and sometimes flourish. From foul diablerie to inhuman codes of morality, some Kindred shock the sensibilities of their fellows.

Forbiddance Begins with Undeath
Sins of the Blood explores the crimes of the Kindred in the many forms they take. Blood cults, ideological heresies, autarkis and all manner of rogues populate the pages of this book, suitable as antagonists for coteries or as inspirations for players characters.

Nights of Prophecy - Episode 54

In this episode, we dive into some of the canonical metaplot of Vampire: the Masquerade. This book serves as an update to the constantly changing World of Darkness. If this came out ten years later, we'd call it a 'patch'.

Happy holidays to all our listeners! We hope you all have a safe, fun and happy time with those you love!
