Book of Storyteller Secrets - Episode 112

In this episode, Bob and Nate take a look at the Book of Storyteller Secrets for Vampire: the Dark Ages. This sourcebook collects information for storytellers left out of the corebook such as an atlas of Dark Medieval Europe, a plethora of Storytelling tips for running your own Dark Ages game, and rules for ghouls, antagonists, magical weapons and mythical beasts found in Dark Medieval Europe.

This book was written by Wade Racine, Matt Burke, and J.D. Wiker for White Wolf Game Studio and published July of 1996.

Vampire Storytellers Handbook
January 2nd, 2000
Written by:
Bruce Baugh, Anne Sullivan Braidwood, Deird're Brooks, Geoffrey C. Grabowski, Clayton Oliver and Sven Skoog
The Final Nights Hide a Million Stories
From the hidden horrors of the Camarilla to the naked fiendishness of the Sabbat, vampires play at the eternal Jyhad. Elders, ancillae, neonates, and... others... prowl the nights. Only one individual knows all the secrets of the World of Darkness.

And They Must All Be Told
The role of the Storyteller is a daunting one, and this book is an invaluable aid for those who orchestrate Vampire chronicles. It includes a myriad of information, including enigmas best left out of players' hands, to create stories and populate the casts of epic tales. The Vampire Storytellers Handbook revised edition leaves no stone unturned — except those that hide secrets no mortal should know.

The Storytellers Handbook to the Sabbat - Episode 14

Thanks for checking back with us! In today's podcast, we discuss the MAJORITY of The Storytellers Handbook to the Sabbat. Towards the back third of the podcast, our recording machine took a dump, so the podcast cuts abruptly. Anyways, we are essentially working with cans and string. Thanks for your patience. Without further ado...

Storytellers Handbook to the Sabbat is the second sourcebook to describe the Sabbat, and serves as a companion to the earlier Players Guide to the Sabbat. The Handbook fleshes out background elements of the sect, and introduces two new Sabbat bloodlines. The book advanced the characterization of the Sabbat as thoroughly infested with infernalists, which persisted until Vampire: The Masquerade Revised Edition. This book also introduced the notion of Vicissitude as an infection — a concept that was later revisited in a drastically different form in Dirty Secrets of the Black Hand.
