Ghouls and Revenants
Written by: Various
June 1st, 2016

By Blood It Is Done
Bound by their masters' blood, ghouls serve the undead and fight their battles in the shadows. Dragged, seduced, or forced into the night, ghouls live at the whims of their masters--for better or for worse.

By Blood It Is Made Anew
Revenants are twisted and unique. They have vampiric powers and extended life, as well as a form of the Beast all their own. Crafted by blending ghouls with dark magic, Revenants have become something else altogether.

Rites of the Blood - Episode 103

In this episode, we almost review the wrong book. Instead, we talk Thaumaturgy turkey with an updated look at blood magic for V20. Rites of the Blood collects a number of different styles of Thaumaturgy under one title, revises some older material, and adds some new rituals powers to your sorcerous arsenal.
Thank you guys for listening and your support. We’ll be off for the next few weeks over the holiday. Enjoy what ever it is you celebrate. Nobody reads this stuff. I’m nearly sure of it. If you do read it, the secret password is, “Hail Sithis!
This book was written by Alan Alexander, Jason Andrew, Matthew Sanderson, Ree Soesbee and developed by Eddy Webb for Onyx Path Publishing and White Wolf Game Studio. It was published July 9th, 2014

Rites of the Blood
Written by: Alan Alexander, Jason Andrew, Matthew Sanderson, Ree Soesbee
July 9th, 2014

In the deepest crimson depths of their being, raw power waits to be brought to the surface. Through their force of will, Kindred can drag this power kicking and screaming into the open to perform miraculous feats and twisted blasphemies. These rituals have been developed to direct and focus this new force, unconstrained by the structure of the known Disciplines. As such, only one word has been seen fit to describe this power that has echoed throughout the ages. Magic.

Rites of the Blood
is a collection of rituals practiced among the various Kindred sects and Clans. This isn’t just a collection of powers, but an examination of the sects themselves and how they use their eldritch mystical arts: the Thaumaturgy of the Camarilla Tremere, the bloody rites and patchwork sorcery of the Sabbat, the creepy and alien practices of the Tal’Mahe’Ra, “street” rituals from the Anarch contingent, the sorceries of the Assamites and Setites, the necromancy of the Giovanni, and even some of the mysterious ways of the Inconnu.

V20 Companion - Episode 96

In this episode, Nate and Bob review the V20 Companion. This book expands upon the elements talked about in the V20 core material, including information on vampiric titles, status and prestation, and locations in the World of Darkness. This book was written by Justin Achilli and Eddy Webb for White Wolf Game Studios and published by Onyx Path Publishing on August 23rd, 2012.

V20 Companion
Written by: Justin Achilli, Eddy Webb
August 23rd, 2012

Can a Prince command a Priscus?
How have the Anarchs fared during the modern nights?
Can the Harpies declare a boon null?
These questions and more secret details of the Kindred condition have their answers within the V20 Companion. A complementary sourcebook detailing some of the finer points of being undead, this is the first supplement released in support of the 20th anniversary edition of Vampire: The Masquerade.

Vampire: the Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition - Episode 94

Wow, that is a really long title to a book, if you think about it. I know why we all call it V20 now! Anyways, this podcast is a tiny bit non-traditional. We definitely review V20, but more than that, we talk about how V20 has impacted us as gamers and podcasters. It’s no secret that V20 has been a major factor in revitalizing this game for many old school players. I don’t suspect anyone will be shocked about what we think of this game and book. This book was written by Justin Achilli, Rose Bailey, Matthew McFarland, and Eddy Webb for White Wolf publishing and released October 21st, 2011.

We’ve been doing this podcast for 2 years, this month. We are constantly overwhelmed by how much support we’ve gotten from the community and how much positivity we’ve received from you, the listener. Does a Vampire Have a Soul?

Others abandon the moral struggle altogether – and find themselves in the throes of Frenzy. How can the race of Caine steel itself against its murderous impulses?

But For How Long?
By popular demand, Chaining the Beast explores the Paths of Enlightenment in detail, from the Hierarchies of Sin to the myriad nightly concerns of a vampire who upholds them. A resource for those seeking to explore the alien mindset of the undead, this book sheds light on the dark corners of the Kindred psyche.

Succubus Club: Dead Man's Party - Episode 88

Succubus Club: Dead Man's Party
Written by: Richard Chillot and Christopher Kobar
June 2nd, 2003

Everyones Invited
The Damned are solitary monsters, contriving elaborate social situations for themselves to deny the prominence of the Beast. Parties and other social affairs from graceful soirees to brutal Sabbat ritae are the foundation of undead reputation. Hosting such affairs, whether as a pack priest or as a nascent prince, can be as arduous a process as claiming a domain.

The Beautiful and Damned
For players looking to enhance their characters status or reputation, Succubus Club: Dead Mans Party is an invaluable resource. Covering all the stages of planning a social affair from concept to implementation (and aftermath), this title is invaluable for players who want to participate in the grandiose social structure of the undead. This book contains information useful to Kindred of all clans, sects, ages and generations.

Caine's Chosen: the Black Hand - Episode 81

In this episode, Nate and Bob review the sourcebook for the Sabbat Sub-sect, the Black Hand. Gone are the days of the "True Hand," and all shits given have left with them. Today, we look at a mysterious group of mystical assassins who await the rapidly approaching Ghenna to take their place besides Caine. Like many other Vampire: the Masquerade books, Caine's Chosen is presented from many different sources and perspectives. This allows the book to have a healthy dose of subjectivity and complexity.
This book was written by Sarah Roark, C. A. Suleiman and Janet Trautvetter, developed by Justin Achilli for White Wolf studios and released January 20th, 2003.

WARRIORS FOR THE SWORD OF CAINE
Hidden behind veils of secrecy and mystery, the Black Hand serves as the martial arm of the Sabbat. When the blood and fire of the sect's packs and prisci fail to win the night, the Black Hand arrives like a grim cavity on the cusp of the night. With all its autonomy and authority, however, the Black Hand has turned upon itself - does it truly serve the Sabbat or has it become a Gehenna cult?

June 3rd, 2002

Where the Undead Stay
Almost every Kindred has a haven, and those who dont are a sorry lot indeed. From a princes sprawling estate to the steam-tunnel nest of a Nosferatu, havens say much about their owners. This collection of unique havens looks at the specific needs of the Kindred who maintain them and gives advice for how to incorporate them into a story.

Dwellings of the Kindred
The purpose of Havens of the Damned is to encourage players and Storytellers to view havens as something more than simply where the Kindred rest during the daylight hours. A folio of interesting havens, this book introduces the perfect way to introduce new story hooks to any chronicle.

Clanbook: Lasombra Revised - Episode 72

In this episode, we save the best for last, maybe? I guess than depends on your opinion about the Lasombra clan. Anyways, we find it enjoyable and hope to impart some of that upon you! This book delves into the clan's relationship with the Sabbat, the supernatural command of the Abyss, and Lasombra's roots in the Mediterranean and connection with the sea. This book was written by Bruce Baugh with development by Justin Achilli and released December 26th, 2001 for White Wolf Publishing.

Clanbook: Lasombra
Written by: Bruce Baugh
December 26th, 2001

 Born of Darkness
The Final Nights have twisted the nobility of the Keepers clan, turning them into the aristocrats of that diabolical sect. Their legacy of shadows eclipses the light thrown by their packs ritual fires. But are the Lasombra truly the esteemed leaders of the Sword of Caine or do they simply abuse it to serve their own ends?

The Lords of the Sabbat
As the next entry in the revised lineup of clanbooks, Lasombra takes one of the classic Vampire sourcebooks and brings it into a modern context. All-new information accompanies revised material, inviting you to add as much depth to your character as you like.

Mexico City by Night - Episode 71

In this episode, we discuss the city sourcebook for the capital of Sabbat, Mexico City. Known as "Black Babylon," this book is a must-have for any storyteller looking to take their players into the depths of the Sabbat. It was written by Written By: Philippe R. Boulle, Dean Shomshack and Lucien Soulban on August 5th, 2002 for White Wolf Studios.

*Some of you may notice that this book is reviewed out of order. Yep. That's totally true. It's because my memory is shit and I misquoted our next book last week. So here it is, as promised. Next week, we review Clanbook: Lasombra as normal.*

The city teems with over 20 million mortals.  Since the dawn of the New World, Mexico ity has been the bastion of the Sword of Caine.  In the modern nights it remains that way, though plagued by Cainite overpopulation and sundered from within by internal dissent.  Although it presents a bold faceade, how strong is the Sabbat's sprawling home?
