In this episode, Nathan and Rachel discuss two pieces of cult cinema. First, Rachel talks about her experience seeing the 1983 Brian De Palma crime classic, “Scarface.”
Scarface is a 1983 American crime film directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone, a remake of the 1932 film of the same name. The film tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino) who arrives in 1980s Miami with nothing and rises to become a powerful drug kingpin.
Then, Nate talks about his experience watching the Sci-Fi Western cult classic, “Firefly.”
Firefly is an American space Western drama television series which ran from 2002–2003, created by writer and director Joss Whedon, under his Mutant Enemy Productions label. Whedon served as an executive producer, along with Tim Minear.
